With over 13 years of experience in Mermaiding, Mermaid Cordylia is a dedicated advocate for water safety, education, and marine conservation. A 2023 Miss Yelm Mermaid and former lifeguard, Mermaid Cordylia brings her passion for all things aquatic into her current role as a CNA and certified PADI Advanced Open Water diver.

Beyond her professional certifications, which include First Responder training, Bloodborne Pathogen certification, and DAN insurance, she is also a PADI Certified Mermaid Instructor, committed to educating and empowering merfolk from diverse communities. Her mission is to foster inclusivity and awareness through mermaid instruction, safety training, and certifications.

A passionate advocate for sea turtles and manta rays, Mermaid Cordylia actively participates in volunteer efforts such as beach cleanups and book reading sessions. She has also been trained in suicide and bully prevention, further emphasizing her dedication to creating safe and supportive environments both in and out of the water.
